Building a global
employer
culture
Polycor
Polycor is a Quebec-based company specializing in the extraction, processing and marketing of natural stone, recognized worldwide for the quality and durability of its materials.
With a presence in several countries and a wide variety of profiles, Polycor wanted to strengthen retention, stimulate commitment and better position itself in a saturated job market. We led a collaborative project in the field, giving birth to a unifying employer brand, a new employee journey and a culture revealed from the inside. Work designed with and for employees, to reflect what already unites them, beyond borders and professions. The result: a human and differentiating proposition in an increasingly uniform recruitment landscape.
We even came up with a prototype name and logo for the interview process, to quickly signal our desire to assert that, despite distance and cultural differences, we were all one.
This image illustrates the living memory of quarry workers, whose strength and solidarity have shaped a stone heritage that stands the test of time.

We've mapped employees' careers in all their richness, from their first day on the job right through to retirement, and we've also highlighted key moments in their lives, such as the arrival of a child.
On arrival, each new employee receives a welcome kit including T-shirt, cap, water bottle and accessories - a tangible symbol of belonging to the Polycor family.
To keep mineworkers informed, newspapers were distributed in their living quarters: cafés, changing rooms, bathrooms, and sent home by post.
Unbreakable Together has become a strong symbol of the union and cohesion between our teams.
