Festival d’été de Québec

"During the pandemic, we were lucky enough to accompany the Festival d'été de Québec to reinvent its experience and keep the magic of music alive."

After a long break, the FEQ needed to do more than just come back: it needed to reconnect with its audience. With "Rebonjour", we co-constructed a strong, simple and profoundly human gesture. An invitation to meet up again, to vibrate together. Narration, tone, points of contact: everything was designed to rekindle the emotions of the collective. A deep-rooted, sensitive relaunch, more relevant than ever.

From the pen of Joshua Laesard, "Rebonjour" took the form of a hymn to reunion : after so much waiting, we were finally going to meet again.

We wanted to create a playful, colorful direction that would breathe new life into the Festival's festive spirit. With this in mind, we were fortunate to collaborate with Laurianne Poirier.

The insight behind our approach: during the pandemic, walking had become an escape without a destination. The Festival suddenly gave us a purpose, a real destination.

The palisade became the centerpiece of the universe we'd created, both a support and a symbol of our reunion.

With so much uncertainty about how the pandemic rules would apply, we decided to turn this constraint into a strength: a festival like no other.

For the first time, the FEQ also launched a range of clothing, allowing festival-goers to take a piece of that energy home with them. The collaboration was a success, thanks in no small part to Sabrina Deslaurier of studio Teamm.

Laurianne Poirier receives a gift of her own illustrations, mirroring her creative universe.

This edition was unlike any other..

This edition was a real breeze of happiness, marked by long-awaited reunions. People finally said : "Rebonjour".

And while we're at it, Joshua challenged us to create the longest music band t-shirt, featuring every artist who has participated in the Festival since its very first edition in 1968. Well, here it is! A gift that we gave to the customer to thank him for trusting us.
