Raising the voice
of human rights
Lawyers Without Borders Canada
A symbol of universal commitment, the Avocats sans frontières logo is a powerful yet simple statement in the public arena, reminding us that justice and humanity are at the heart of the organization's mission.
Lawyers Without Borders Canada wanted to strengthen its identity to better reflect the diversity and impact of its commitment around the world. To build a coherent, representative identity, we took an immersive approach, meeting lawyers working in nine different countries and three different languages.
An unforgettable encounter with Pascal Paradis, a visionary and pioneering builder who helped shape Avocats sans frontières by opening up new avenues for justice and international solidarity.
In the field, Avocats sans frontières works alongside the most vulnerable people, offering a listening ear, legal support and hope of justice.
Through co-creation workshops and interviews, we listened to their experiences, challenges and aspirations. This participatory approach enabled us to develop an identity that unifies their voice, while respecting the richness and plurality of their mission.
The new logo unites the world and justice to form a human silhouette, putting people at the heart of Avocats sans frontières' mission.
A clear, strong design, where the logo becomes a landmark and a symbol of commitment.
Designed as both a practical and symbolic tool, the binder reflects the world of lawyers while adapting to the realities of projects in the field.
The brand's black and white colors echo the lawyers' robes, reflecting a neutrality that transcends national boundaries.
By clarifying their positioning and consolidating their image, we have helped to make their action more visible and effective on the international scene. This transformation not only strengthens the impact and recognition of Lawyers Without Borders Canada, but also its ability to mobilize and inspire those who defend human rights around the world.
